Mr. Kirk Macchiavello is Vice President and General Manager of the National Security Business Unit at Zolon. He is responsible for the growth, delivery and client satisfaction of IT programs and services across the National Security market, including the Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, State, Energy and Treasury.
Mr. Macchiavello is a dynamic sales and operations P&L executive with 20+ years of experience selling and delivering business and technology solutions and services to Federal Civilian agencies and Commercial clients. Prior to joining Zolon, Mr. Macchiavello was Senior Director at Attain, where he led the federal/Department of State IT and management consulting services business, including the Securities and Exchange Commission EDGAR program, for which he received the 2014 Attain Federal Program of the Year Leadership Award. Previously, Mr. Macchiavello was Vice President at Apptis/URS (now Amentum), where he led the National Security and Foreign Affairs business. Mr. Macchiavello has also held senior level positions at Unisys Federal and Cap Gemini.
Mr. Macchiavello is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is ITIL 4 certified. He has comprehensive experience across the full System and Service Development Life Cycle utilizing Agile, CMMI and ITIL, and systems integration, modernization and transformation methodologies. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Macchiavello has been an active participant in several industry and community organizations including Executive Mosaic, ACT-IAC, and the National Kidney Foundation. He is a member of the Executive Mosaic 4×24 Leadership Series – DHS/Civilian Group, was a graduate of the ACT-IAC 2016 Partners executive leadership development program, and served on the steering committee for the National Kidney Foundation’s Annual Organ Donation Awareness charity basketball tournament at the Verizon Center.
