Mr. McMahon was retained by Zolon Tech Inc. in 2023 to provide General Counsel services for the company as it accelerates its growth and builds additional infrastructure. Prior to 2023, Zolon had a long standing attorney-client relationship with Mr. McMahon and his transition to in-house General Counsel proved to be a natural and beneficial transition. Prior to joining Zolon as General Counsel, Mr. McMahon was in private practice for more than 30 years during which time he represented entities that provided contractor services to agencies of the federal government. He has served as in-house counsel/general counsel for several of his client entities. His experience is broad and includes most matters or issues confronting federal service contractors in the present contracting environment. Before entering private practice, Mr. McMahon served in various capacities with the Marines including a combat tour and service with the Judge Advocate General of the Navy. In addition, he was also assigned to the office of the Secretary of the Navy and to the office of the Secretary of Defense serving in legislative liaison capacities where he interfaced with the staffs and members of House Armed Services Committee and the same Committees of the United States Senate. In this later service, he gained significant experience working with many of the agencies and departments of the Executive Branch. This government relations experience has served him well in his current practice of law.
His prior experience in representing companies that have provided information technology services to the federal government entities has been especially helpful Zolon and his previous experience dealing with contractor disputes, among themselves and with their federal customers, is very much appreciated. His knowledge of human resources is broad and he has proven to be an excellent resource and General Counsel for Zolon.
